Courses:
Lincoln Park, Charlotte (Map) – The front nine is a short, technical and is prime for anyone’s first ace. The back plays completely different. Bring your big guns and let her rip. Spring 2010 update: Now there are 21 holes at Lincoln Park, with the new 3 added into the back 9 portion of the course.
Lake Alliance, Potterville (Map) – 18 holes with variety, including water hazards, woods, and a long shot from the top of the sledding hill. Drive around to the back of the park to the small parking lot, hole 1 near the pavilion.
Eaton Rapids Fields, Eaton Rapids (Map) – Newly installed 9 hole course works its way around the athletic complex across the street from Eaton Rapids High School. An additional 9 holes are in the planning and money-raising process. Hole 1 at corner of parking lot between road and tennis courts.
I played three times in the Charlotte League this summer. Very well organized.
MY SCORES WERE UPDATED ON THEIR WEBSITE THE NEXT DAY!
Lansing website was three weeks behind last time I checked. You are what you are perceived as.
There are links on the home page for Google maps to each course.
The first round will be at Lincoln Park in Charlotte. Round 2 will be at Lake Alliance in Potterville.
See you there!
